Details

Traditional Viennese Waltz is easy-to-learn, fun, improvisational and playful. And is maybe the most romantic partner dance of all.

Popular since the early 19th century, it is done all around the world to medium, fast and slow tempos.

In this course you will the learn Right Turning Viennese (rotating to your right as you travel with a partner), Left Turning Viennese (rotating to your left as you travel with a partner), Promenades, Follower Backing, follower turns, Skaters, Yale, Pomander turns and more. Plus some Waltz-Swing fusion, and Waltz-Blues fusion.

The aim is for you to become a Waltz dancer with a broad repertoire, able to do both Right and Left Turning Viennese.
